PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
With over ten years of experience in the field of exhibition training and advice, ART ON THE MOVE offers a comprehensive Professional Development Program designed to meet the needs of galleries and exhibition venues around Western Australia.Our program aims to progressively broaden knowledge and skills across all areas of exhibition practice, including venue management, exhibition curation, lighting and conservation, artwork installation and handling, collection management and education programs.
ART ON THE MOVE's Professional Development Program is designed to cater for individual needs by delivering introductory, intermediate and advanced modules as appropriate.

Training Workshops
ART ON THE MOVE provide fully tailored training programs suited to individual needs and delivered in the venue. All training workshops are presented by experienced industry professionals and are complemented by visual presentations, training materials and crated artworks. This ensures workshop participants receive an engaging, hands on experience that develops new skills or refresh existing ones.
Specific skills workshops are also presented throughout the year at ART ON THE MOVE's dedicated training facility and gallery space. All ART ON THE MOVE workshops can be held over a half day, full day or two days, depending on the training program required.

An exciting professional development for Teachers and Educators. This full day hands-on, practical workshop will explore colour mixing and painting techniques. and includes a tour of A Desire to Relate, an exhibition of paintings in oils and gouache by David Gregson. Presented by Western Australian painter, Linda van der Merwe and exhibition curator Catherine Czerw.

Basic Soft Packing, Moving and Conservation of Artworks

This workshop is designed to cover skills that anyone working with artworks requires. It will introduce participants to the handling needs of artworks, basic conservation practices as well as the basic principles of soft packing a variety of artworks for transportation.
