Exhibition Lighting

A full day workshop presented by a professional lighting consultant, covering aspects of lighting for galleries and exhibition venues.  This workshop will include a practical session in the ART ON THE MOVE Gallery.  Presented by James Wallace, Director Lightplan.

Planning for Venue & Exhibition Lighting

A half day session covering aspects of planning for new lighting installations and choosing appropriate venue lighting solutions. Presented by James Wallace, Director Lightplan. (N.B. Basic Conservation and Packing of Artworks

A half day workshop covering the handling of artworks, requirements of moving and packing artworks, and selection of appropriate materials.  Presented by Consevator, Vannessa Wiggin.

Exhibition Installation and Handling Techniques

A full day workshop covering installation of visual art exhibitions, artwork handling, planning for installation of works into the exhibition space.  Correct hanging techniques for two and three dimensional works using a basic formula to calculate hanging heights, using hanging equipment, screens and plinths is covered in detail.  Presented by Paul Caporn.
